About Musicians and Comedians
I had my bday last sunday. We went to a concert of the best bulgarian ska/punk band - Wickeda. It took place at "Les Temps Modernes" Vevey. A really dirty and alternative place. At least for swiss standarts. I loved it!It was an absolutely great concert! I will upload some pix as soon as I have them. But not everybody seemed to enjoy it as much as I did because after all this is a rock band. It has some guitars in it you know? With distortion! But hey! At least they pretended to have a good time. That's just fine for me. After all it was my night and it's up to you to choose. You can pretend or you can free yourself and just start jumping to the pumping music. Here's a sample of the sound.
Yes I know. I'm beeing a bit unfair now, but that's due to the fact that there were hardly any people on this concert. I mean Wickeda a super stars in Bulgaria but obviously that doesn't mean that they are well known outside of Bulgaria. Still I was not prepared to see the crappy mini-van with which they tour europe for months. If as a musician you can play the best set just in front of 50 people that's a prove for talent and commitment. And their underrated talent had something positive for us after all - we had the chance to chat with the band after the gig. Genuinely nice guys.
What did I get for my bday? Well a pair of fancy and expensive jeans! I would have never paid that much for a pair of jeans but they really do fit like a glove. I feel like I'm Brad Pit in those jeans (or Daniel Craig. He seems to be popular lately. Maybe I should start posting pix of hot chicks on this blog... Ah what the hell - here is one... *drool*) What else? A DVD-Box with Charly Chaplin movies! How cool is that? Does it get any better than this? It does! A Bill Hicks DVD! I have posted videos of him before but they are offline. Educate yourself here. Even 12 years after his death his messages are still relevant! I just can not imagine what kind of material he would have if he was still alive.. . . . I had a vision of a way we could have no enemies ever again, if you’re interested in this. Anybody interested in hearing this? It’s kind of an interesting theory, and all we have to do is make one decisive act and we can rid the world of all our enemies at once. Here’s what we do. You know all that money we spend on nuclear weapons and defense every year? Trillions of dollars.Instead, if we spent that money feeding and clothing the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded . . . not one . . . we could as one race explore space, inner and outer, together, for ever in peace.

Freak on a leash
Do you know that feeling? You are ready to take off. You are even already some inches in the air. But you are tied to a rope and can't get off. In fact it's a leash. Not only that you can't get away but you start to choke because you can't get a fucking breath. It sucks.I don't want to bite the holding hand off because obviously that would hurt the holder a lot. Although it would be a quick and dirty solution there's no need for such a violent act.
Now I really believe that our minds are so powerful that they can create reality. I know that I could get rid of the leash without a problem. The thing is that I still would be looking back to the holder, worrying if he's still fine and how he copes. So in fact maybe it's me holding on to the leash. Does "letting go" mean "stopping to care"?
Confusing situation... I really don't need this now.
PS: Don't worry. I'm not talking about my relationship with my girlfriend or about the people reading this blog. Those things are just fine.
